Fun for
young and old at Giessen’s Math Museum
Children
and adults enjoy the many challenging puzzles and interactive exhibits at
Giessen’s
Mathematics
Museum. The museum, which opened last year and is located near the Giessen Hauptbahnhof on Liebigstr. 8, features several floors of displays —
most of which challenge visitors to put on their thinking caps to work out
puzzles using logic and basic math skills. Building blocks to form arches,
giant soap bubbles, wooden triangles and plenty of other unique exhibits are
guaranteed to keep visitors entertained for several hours. The museum is open
weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6
p.m., until 8 p.m. Thursdays and weekends from 10
a.m. to 6 p.m.
Entrance is Ý6 for
adults, c4 for
youths and v12 for
a family ticket. The museum is a one minute walk from the train station. Follow
signs to the Bahnhof when driving. Call civ (641) 969 7970 or visit www.mathematikum.de
