Robert Kandler

Robert Kandler entered the Army in 1966 and was commissioned an Armor officer in 1967.  He qualified as a rotary wing aviator in 1968.  During his military career in addition to serving in the Republic of Vietnam, he held various assignments in 3d Armor Division, 3d Infantry Division, V Corps and USAREUR Headquarters.  He retired from active duty in 1993.

On departure from active duty,  he served one year as the civilian executive officer for the 104^th Area Support Group before departing government service to practice law in England.  He rejoined government service in March 2001 and has served as the 104^th ASG Deputy to the Commander, IMCOM Europe Chief of Staff, and since 2007, the Deputy to the Commander, USAG Wiesbaden.
