To promote a firm comprehensive community health plan, including physical, emotional, social, spiritual and family fitness, for our Soldiers, civilian work force, retirees and family members.
“The Army has realized total fitness is much more than just physical fitness. The Army has come out with the Comprehensive Fitness Campaign. The bottom line is the well-being of all of our people. It’s about total wellness and fitness, building strength and resiliency in our Soldiers, families, civilians and retirees”
– USAG Wiesbaden Commander Col. Jeffrey Dill
The Comprehensive Community Fitness program is modeled after the Army’s Comprehensive Soldier Fitness program. U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden leaders recognize the importance of staying fit in all dimensions of strength.
Physical: Performing and excelling in physical activities.
Emotional: Approaching life’s challenges in a positive and optimistic way.
Social: Developing and maintaining trusted and valued relationships.
Family: Being part of family unit that is safe, supportive and loving.
Spiritual: Strengthening a set of beliefs, principles or values.
