Soldier and Family Assistance Center

Our Mission:

To provide a comprehensive, centralized office that offers support and assistance for Wounded Warriors and their Families through a variety of services designed to address complex physical, personal, family, social, and economic needs and to deliver these services in a comfortable atmosphere.

The SFAC is a one-stop location designed to provide support services regarding finances, child care, Family Advocacy, budgeting, Chaplain assistance, Legal Assistance, Military Personnel issues, logistics and transportation, installation access, benefits counseling, education, and employment opportunities. The SFAC provides a warm, relaxed environment where Soldiers and their Families can gather to foster physical, spiritual, and mental healing.

What service does the SFAC provide?

* Needs assessments for Soldiers and Families

* Social services, financial counseling, stress
* Management and EFMP services
* Substance abuse information/referral
* Referrals, appointments, and priority service
* Facilitation for Warriors in Transition
* Information on state and federal resources
* Outings, social activities and events
* Information dissemination to non-governmental organizations
* Crisis counseling and stress management
* Transition and Vocational  Support and discounted MWR services
* Military personnel services
* Education counseling and assistance
* Entitlements and services coordinated with local, regional, state and federal agencies
* Traumatic Service members’ Group Life Insurance (TSGLI) counseling/application/appeal assistance
* Child care and youth supervision support
* Donation receipt and management
* On-the-Job training opportunities
