MEMORANDUM FOR Sponsors and Parents

SUBJECT: Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program

  1. Under The direction of the United States Department of Agriculture and the Department of Defense, the National School Lunch Program is offered to Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) students. Students from families whose income meet the eligibility criteria will receive free and/or reduced price meals at the school cafeteria of their respective school. In Wiesbaden the Free and Reduced Lunch Program is administered by Child Youth and School Services. To apply for this program:
    1. Complete and sign an AE Form 352-1A. Applications are accepted throughout the year.
    2. One copy of the sponsors current Leave and Earning Statement (LES) and the spouses LES.
  2. To be eligible for the Free or Reduced Price program in Wiesbaden sponsors must obtain a Personal Identification Number from Aafes and be registered in their lunch program which tracks the program electronically.
  3. Applications taken at Child Youth and School Services Parent Central Services office, 1st Floor Bldg. 1215 at Wiesbaden Army Airfield.
  4. Point of Contact for this program is School Liaison Service at 335-5129 or 337-7928.
  5. Changes in income in excess of $50 per month and/or a change in your number of dependents must be reported to School Liaison Services. Changes must be reported since they may affect eligibility criteria. Failure to report changes may be cause for disciplinary action.
