In previous years, members have harvested grapes at a local vineyard, picked spargel (asparagus) on a local farm and take short trips throughout Europe. The club also sponsors family-oriented activities for its members during school recesses. Activities are only open to members.

* Activities are only open to members.

* All activities require an RSVP 48 hours before the scheduled event.

Welfare

One of the primary purposes of the Wiesbaden Community Spouses Club is to support charitable activities with funds raised by the club through activities such as the Consignment Shop and the annual Lamplighter's Bazaar. The Welfare Committee screens requests from community organizations for Welfare Funds and submits recommendations for disbursements of funds to the Governing Board and General Membership for their approval.
The Welfare Committee typically meets the last Thursday of the month. In order to allow time for committee members to prepare, please submit requests at least seven days before this meeting. The Governing board meets the first Wednesday of the month, so requests can not be approved until this time at the earliest. Requests for funds over $1,000 also require approval of the WCSC general membership and therefore require more time to process. Click here to download the Welfare Application instructions and here to download the Welfare Application Form. The instructions and form are also available as .pdf documents (Adobe Acrobat) by clicking here.
